Morels are a 5-piece band from Baltimore, Maryland featuring current and former members of The Flying Eyes, Bad Liquor Pond, The Warlocks and Hollywood Blanks. It was a rainy day in late June 2014 that they recorded their debut album, which will be released later this year. Though nothing more is yet known about the release, the band has shared the first single off the upcoming album, entitled 'Raygun', earlier this month. No, it has nothing to do with science-fiction, but everything to do with dream pop and shoegaze. Mesmerizing vocals enveloped in melodic guitars that become dazed transport you out of this world.
